Find your machine learning mojo!

3 Step Framework to Become An Artificially Intelligent Master!

You know how when you’re trying to build a career in machine learning it’s really hard not to get overwhelmed?

What you need is for someone to give you a map. A map that helps you get from where you are to building something impactful with AI.

Ok, so I don’t exactly have a map.

But I have gone through the pain of finding my way in machine learning. Now I have developed the Newbie, Guide Me, Grow Me method to help you do the same.

This three-stage process takes you from never having written a line of code, through to building your own strategic portfolio of machine learning projects that can help you get a job in data science.

As I started teaching myself to code, I got very familiar with feeling lost and overwhelmed.

However, I had a massive advantage over many beginner and intermediate level developers. Before learning to code I had almost a decade of experience working in research and tech.

I saw a massive gap in the education of developers.

This gap meant they aren’t able to make the most of their skills. They weren’t being strategic to learn the skills they needed to build something impactful.

It was then I realised I had to re-work my plans for AI Claire so I could help.

Having a system that removes overwhelm and helps you focus

I frequently meet people who feel lost in the world of AI.

Over the last decade, I have been fortunate to be in a unique position. I have seen both sides of the coin, business and tech.

And now I can teach you!

My approach comes in three stages – I call it the Artificially Intelligent Pyramid.

Don’t worry; it’s not a pyramid scheme!

The pyramid splits into three stages:

  • Newbie: Just started programming and feeling overwhelmed? I GOT YOU!
  • Guide Me: You’re ready to start learning machine learning and you need practise. I GOT YOU!
  • Grow Me: You’ve got the ML skills and some practice – now what? I GOT YOU!

Tell me where you’re at?

Before starting any project I think about the five whys.

My method and the different phases are all based on one concept.

The five whys.

The ‘five whys’ is the process of asking yourself why five times when thinking about a problem root cause.

This process has been used in lean factories to identify the root cause of issues in the manufacturing process.

However, when thinking about Lean AI at Artificially Intelligent Claire, the focus is to understand the customer problem deeply before you start building out a solution.

By asking why five times you really have to understand the problem that you are trying to solve.

I asked myself the 5-whys as I was learning to code to understand what my next step would be and which projects I needed to do.

Now I have built my own system into a framework for you.

Once you understand the problem you are in a much better position to build something impactful.
